A very interesting challenge. An updated 1960s house with a well established garden that no longer reflected the new contemporary style.
Key to the project was reconcilling sharp architectural lines with the spirit of the original garden. Reshaped mature trees were retained where possible and a very pleasing Acer used as a circular seating focal point.
Within these constraints the garden still manages to curve organically around the house as before.
“Dear Chris, Many, many thanks for your work in designing, advising and planting our garden. We are delighted with it and appreciate very much your commitment to getting it right.”
